Lake View Adventure Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat

  • The Adventure Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat is located on a wooded 20 acres above and overlooking Wright's Bend on Center Hill Lake near Rock Island State Park. The surrounding area is considered the waterfall mecca of Tennessee with more caves, waterfalls and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States.

    This cabin features an adventure theme and provides a perfect launch for hiking, kayaking and other outdoor adventures. We have 3 cabins and 3 RV sites at Bear Bluff Retreat so that you can bring some friends & family by reserving what you need. Each cabin is ideal for a single, couple, or family with small children.

The cabin was well thought out. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It was so clean and inviting. There were no issues with our stay. We came to see waterfalls and this was the perfect home base for us while we were here.

A peaceful haven! Throughout the entire cabin it was extremely clean. We thought the kitchen amenities were great for making meals, packing lunches, grilling, etc. Water pressure was great. The bed slept well. We thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning listening and watching all of the birds. The bushes were alive! So extremely relaxing with the river right there. We had a couple interactions with Curt, both which were quick responses and very friendly. If we are back in the area again, we will be staying here.

We loved our stay! Great, cozy and clean cabin. It’s just enough off the beaten path to be quiet, yet less than a 15min drive to be a little more closer in to Walmart and other places. Also, just a quick drive to Rock Island State Park. We look forward to visiting again!

The hosts were thoughtful in their preparation, kind and considerate in their interaction. The cabin manual covered all the basics plus offered recommendations for dining out. I was happy to have a comfortable stay with a beautiful view. I plan to return in the future.

Sunset dinner
