Window has blinds but no curtains to black out light so unable to sleep in although we arrived after midnight and were exhausted from long drive. No balcony or view as per pictures.. Tiny closet of a space! When we left the following morning we noticed that the lake was almost empty and all the docks were sitting on dry land. So don't expect water activities either.. Nothing redeeming about this place at all. They shouldn't be charging more than $25 a night And don't expect a response from on site manager or owner. There aren't any extra sheets or towels in the room so depending on the length of your stay, I recommend bringing your own. Our request for more towels was granted but it's not something readily available. The cookware is old from use and should be regularly replaced to add quality to the space. Everything outside the property was wonderful. We enjoyed the deer outside the property. The swimming pool was clean and the hot tub was nice. It has some details like spiderwebs in the living room area, the bed was very noisy and the shower knob seemed like it needs to be replaced. Our stay at The Island on Lake Travis was wonderful! The host was so helpful & treated us so great with every question &/or need we had. The condo we rented was very clean & cozy.
