This was a very poor experience. We had no water for shower, and no water in kitchen sink. We checked in late at night, got up to take showers, and weren't able to do so because there was no water. We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem before we checked out. I asked if he thought we should miss the event to wait for him to call back re: the water? Host Offered a $50 rebate and said it wan't his problem that our timeframe didn't work with the time of when we let him know, then the host went on to say he didn't have to offer a refund and got very personal about what should be a professional, business transaction. Host that I was "absolutely disrespectful."..he's "at a loss with how humanity has become and not sure how some people sleep at night. Please never come back to our establishment. ..You're not the kind of customer we want to welcome back." I have NEVER written a negative review of a rental, and have a positive track record for giving positive, gracious reviews. I do not recommend this place to fellow travelers.
