“We enjoyed the impressive views and spending time on the screened-in porch. (The views are more impressive than the photos show, especially at sunset!) Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and other kitchen items. It's a beautiful and scenic drive along the river to get there. The driveway is very steep, but there are a few pull off spots next to the road for easier parking. Thanks for the wonderful stay!”

“House was clean and comfortable. We'll sticked with needs. Older home with many updates. Stairs could be a little tricky for some, as it's an older home. Nice outdoor patio with chairs and grill. Pool and bar a block away but no added noise or traffic. Easy to get to most locations despite road construction. Street parking or parking pad in alley. Alley parking was a bit narrow to get into. Nice 2 night stay, will definitely stay again.”

“When we first walked into the place and fumbled for a light switch, we saw a marvelous kitchen where everything had a descriptive label. We were quickly able to bypass the usual "Hey, where are the silverware?" complications immediately. Multi-switch panels are also clearly labeled as to their function. Convenient! During the first afternoon we were there heavy rain came through while we were watching TV in the front room. We didn't notice the rain until someone got up to see it out the……

“The house was as advertised. It had everything we needed for our two-night stay. It was conveniently located across from the Mississippi River and the restaurants in the small town. Communication with the host was easy, and he responded quickly.”

The space was clean, cozy and contained everything we needed for a short stay to enjoy golf and biking. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable. Towels and bedding were soft and new. Host was a gem, providing bike storage and parking space. She answered our questions very quickly and provided delicious cookies to enjoy upon our arrival.
