We used the trailhead behind the property to hike up to Eagle Bluff point (where the lighted tree is) for a breathtaking view up/down the River. Also 1 mile to Sullivan’s Supper Club (with reservation) that was wonderful, and ended our evening out a few blocks away at Trempealeau Hotel & Saloon for old world charm, live music, refreshments, and cribbage. Good shower in the morning and we were off to grab breakfast in town. The bed is comfortable, the shower works fine, the refrigerator in the room is cold. I met one of the owners, Ashley, and she is very friendly. Trempealeau is a beautiful little town on the Mississippi. My only complaint is not the hotel's fault. Abundant of outdoor areas to relax and view the river, tables for dining outdoors, fire pit area, several hammocks and a children’s play structure. Room is on the older side but was very clean. Owner was very attentive!!! The water was cold at times in the shower, I am guessing there is not enough hot water capacity. The rooms are clean and well stocked.
