The cottage features a king-size bed, a large Jacuzzi whirlpool tub, and a fully equipped kitchen ready for your culinary adventures. Bayberry is one of the Autumn Ridge Cottages, situated on a 40 acre ridge with grassy fields, woodlands, and gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Wildlife is abundant with deer, wild turkey, rabbits, and birds.

Located minutes from Lexington's historic downtown area, VMI & WLU colleges, and the Virginia Horse Center. Lots of local shopping and dining. Plenty of historic site-seeing, breweries, wineries, etc.

The cottage is very clean and all necessary amenities were provided, but there are animals nesting in the attic and back wall of the house. It was difficult to sleep because of the noises they made coming and going.

Beautiful Cottage Experience

The cottage was immaculate and checkin was super easy. The bed is quite possibly the best bed I've ever slept in! For a couple on a weekend or week long getaway this is a perfect place to stay that's close enough to Lexington to check out and explore but not in the middle of anything for some private time.

Great cabin

This cute and rustic cabin is close to town but feels very private and secluded. The cabin was adorably decorated and clean. Thoughtful touches were abundant throughout. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the dragonflies. A peaceful getaway but close enough we were able to DoorDash a meal.

Very nice cabin, we were extremely impressed by it. It's location as perfect in relation to Lexington (maybe 5 minute drive), the surrounding scenery was very nice. The attention to detail of the cabin was very thorough as well. Cabin was clean and hygienic material provided (soap, shampoo, towels) was on par with a top notch hotel. The only room for improvement we saw were that the ironing board was actually broken down the middle and had been broken from a previous guest I suppose, so my wife had to use the dining table. Also, not sure if that is indeed supposed to be a vent in the bathroom, but that wasn't working. Other than that, nothing else and we'll look at staying here again in the future.

Romantic Getaway Cabin

What can I say other than, Magnifique! The cabin was beautifully furnished (sharp knives, fast internet, hot water, ample soap & linens) and a lover's oasis. The indoor fireplace and working hot tub w/ jets are the high selling points of the cabin. Wood interior throughout makes it feel warm and inviting. Kingsized bed is memory-foam soft.10 minutes from downtown Lexington, VA, you can easily get all essentials and cook up a fine meal. Cabin was clean, easy to locate, and worth returning to.

The cottage was a little smaller than expected, with low ceilings. The grounds were lovely and the hosts were friendly and charming. They provided all the amenities that we needed. Lovely Cabin

We were in Lexington for a family wedding. This cabin was nice as it allowed us to be close to all the action but away from the more stressful moments. The pictures are accurate & the bed was comfy. The jacuzzi was great after a long hard hike. Lexington was close to good trails & had a terrific brewery & good restaurants.

The cabin was good. The bed has bedbugs, and it was not very clean. The rest was good. The neighborhood is close relatively in car to Lexington. Issue, there is very little places to walk or trails. They are near in car but not close to the property.

My last VRBO experience

The zero cancellation policy for VRBO makes no sense. Why should someone be charged for cleaning, fees, etc IF NO ONE STAYS AT THE PROPERTY. This policy makes even less sense given we are living in a world of COVID where people’s situations can change last minute.
