We had been driving all day to get there and were about an hour away when we got a phone call. It was the new property owner/manager who was calling to check on us. When I confirmed that we were on our way, he offered to turn on the AC and make sure the room was comfortable for us on that hot day. It was such a thoughtful gesture.
