"This is a nice motel, that overlooks Lake Superior. The sunsets over the lake are especially nice. There are no elevators, so if that is a problem I would suggest trying to reserve a 1st floor room."

"We greatly enjoyed our time at Fletchy’s. The location is excellent, especially if you like convenience to the beach. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"Our family of 6 enjoyed our 5-night stay at Nevins Lake. The kitchen, family room, laundry facilities, and bathroom were excellent. Our kids enjoyed the lofted bedroom. The main floor bedrooms are simple but worked well for us. The grounds are spacious, and the view from the back yard is beautiful. We enjoyed the firepit and back patio table, both with lake views. The tiki torches and unlimited firewood made for great times around the fire. The availability of 4 kayaks (1-person each), a canoe, a paddleboat, and a rowboat made it easy for all of us to get out on the water at the same time. Highlights for us included swimming in the lake and fishing (good pike, smallmouth bass, and bluegill fishing; largemouth bass are available as well).The house is closer to the Pictured Rocks attractions than we expected. Our favorites were the Log Slide Overlook, Grand Sable dunes, Hurricane River hike along Lake Superior, Chapel Rock, and Miners Beach/Castle."

"House was clean and in a good location, only 2-3 minute drive from the beach/town. Only issue that we had were the mosquitos on the property, but this is to be expected in the UP :) Molly was very responsive to anything we needed during our stay. "

"It was perfect!! Plenty of room for the ten of us with the lower level bedroom being ideal for our daughter and her whole family. Although a bathroom on that level would be optimal. Maybe at least put a mirror in that bedroom for convenience. The location was terrific so close to Munising and wonderful miners beach! Loved it and would recommend it to friends and family!"

"We had a wonderful time at your secluded cabin. It was such an awesome little lake ,so clear we watched turtles and fish. Enjoyed kayaking, swimming, bonfires and watching sunsets. Took hikes on trails and picked blueberries. Amenities should be updated to say bring own linens and towels as they are not provided. Owner did contact us few days before our stay to inform us. Hope to be able to return again in future. "

"We loved Big Red! It was perfect for our family vacation. We had 7 adults and 1 baby, and we weren't crowded at all. We loved that we could all gather in the family room at the same time to watch movies and play games. Loved the huge kitchen table for family meals. It was close to everything. We walked everywhere we went. I will be renting from them again, and cannot wait for our next stay at Big Red!"

"The property was beautiful. Secluded, dark at night, very close to the water, lots of birds. The inside was very nice and taken care of. It was very close to down town. Just note there is no AC, wasn’t a big deal but something to keep in mind since one night was muggy but it wasn’t too bad. "
