“For the place it's nice hotel. It has some flaws but overall I'd go there again. Hotel is nicely designed but the rooms could be better equipped. We had full board, the buffet breakfast could be better, but I understand they can't put tons of food for total aprox 10 people accommodated in the hotel during our stay. The lunch and dinner was excellent. ”

“Beautiful property. Owner does not speak English which made the check in difficult. It’s a self check in and we were not given our room number which should have been in the welcome email, but was not. When calling owner to find out room number, she kept giving the code to the front door instead. We were saved by another guest who was able to work out which room was ours. ”

“Although the receptionist didn’t speak any English, between google translate and point and smiling, we were checked in early and shown around the hotel. The breakfast was good. Our room had an awkward shower/tub set up with no shower curtain, but we made the best of it. I think this is a very popular hotel as the weather warms up because there’s a popular road cycling trail and Straznice is central on that map. We were only here two nights, but there’s a couple real good bakeries across the……

“Staff were very kind and courteous. The spa treatments were great, we got them at the Irma spa and they were lovely. We did the mirror pool and mud pool + short massage, which made the trip worth it. The area itself is really beautiful, green and nice to walk around / have a drink. Also there are restaurants nearby in town which are really nice. Overall a nice trip but the other reviews are right that the property itself is dated. First impression on arrival wasn’t great but stay was nice……

“1 night stay for my parents as a gift to my father’s 90th birthday. Stay was during the hot wave in Europe, 40degrees during the day, still very hot at night and they accommodated them in a room room without A/C (although when my Mom asked, they told her some rooms have A/C). Paying equivalent of 300 USD per night on a regular weekday, one would expect room with A/C. Besides that, road works started just under their window at 6am. The spa treatments were apparently great, but the accommodation……
