"The best thing about the stay was Luana. She was helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. The heating unit did not heat the room sufficiently and the floors were way too cold. Rugs would have helped. "The breakfast was exceptional. A large variety of fresh options, including home grown produce, was very tasty. Gluten free options were available. The ricotta omelette was superb. Greatly enjoyed the garden surroundings and the sparkling pool, including the friendly dog. The very friendly owner provided easy transport to dining options. "Casa del Poeta was probably our favorite place we stayed during our two-week trip to Sicily. It’s in a lovely, peaceful location with plenty of parking, which made arriving by car really easy. We loved the story behind the property and all the thoughtful details that went into the decor and experience. The bed was especially comfortable and we slept so well. The pool was also incredibly peaceful and relaxing, a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The location worked really well for day trips around the area. "This is a great property in the middle of the Sicilian countryside. The property is very, very clean and full of character. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower. There is a washing machineand the water supply i always reliable. Giulio is a great host and replied quickly to all our needs. There is a very comfortable sofa bed, which will accomodate two people no problem in the main living area. We will certainly come back!"
