Lakeside bliss and serenity in the Northwoods

Experience Northern Minnesota ambiance on Leisure Lake with beautiful views and towering pines! This beautiful year-round lake home was built in 2012 and has 2 main floor bedrooms and a loft area with beds. The home has a spacious open floor plan, tongue and groove white pine, a cozy living room, and the kitchen features a breakfast bar and dining area with in-floor heat. The sandy beach is great for swimming and there are 2 docks to enjoy fishing for walleye, bass, crappie, sunnies, and northern pike. Enjoy the use of kayaks and paddle boards free of charge. Adult life jackets are available for use. We provide NO children's life jackets. A peaceful getaway, located on a dead-end road on private land. Borders old growth forest.

Dog friendly UPON APPROVAL. Well behaved dogs only and 2 dogs total... A $25 fee PER DOG REQUIRED FOR THE ENTIRE STAY! No cats or other pets allowed. Pet Policy: All dogs must be watched while on the premise. PLEASE KEEP ALL DOGS OFF THE FURNITURE AND BEDS! Kennels are highly recommended for inside the cabin. Guests will be financially responsible for any damages caused by their pets.

Enjoy relaxing on the deck, swimming in the lake, boating (paddle boat, paddle board, and kayaks available or bring your own), chilling inside the cabin, evening campfires with SOME wood provided (Please limit firewood use so there is plenty for all renters) roasting marshmallows, plenty of yard space for yard games (corn hole, bocce ball, croquet, ladder ball available), listening to the call of the loons, and watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets with your friends and/or family.

If you enjoy golfing bring your clubs and enjoy three local golf courses. [The Legend at Giants Ridge (24 min away), Eveleth Municipal Golf Course (12min away), Virginia Golf Course (27min away)].

We have wifi for your use... a smart TV with DVD player and some kid-friendly DVDs available or feel free to bring your own. Radio with indoor or outdoor sound available for your leisure. We do have a new large AC unit in the window on the main floor in the living area! Keeps the cabin nice and cool on those beautiful hot days!
It is the renter’s responsibility to check MN DNRs website for fire danger and burning restrictions prior to using the outdoor fire pit. Google Search: MN DNR fire restrictions.

Located one hour and 10 minutes from Duluth and 3 hours and 10 minutes from the Twin Cities area. When driving on Leisure Lake Road please be sure to follow the 15 mph speed limit. This speed limit is set for the safety of residents and children walking on the road!

We really enjoyed our time at this lovely cabin. Quiet, peaceful location and lots of great fishing :-) Photos are representative of the interior and the cabin was very clean, which goes a long way with me! :-) The kitchen was adequately stocked and having the grill to use outside was very nice. Sandy was very responsive to any questions and very helpful. Would stay again!

Beautiful Views
We had 6 adults 1 child and it accommodated perfectly. Very beautiful location, wonderful dock. We kayaked, and had a bonfire 2 nights of the 3. Leaves were just starting to change for fall so that was wonderful. Didn't catch much fish; but managed to catch a few smaller northern and a huge crappie. Missed out a big walleye got it up to the dock and it jumped out of the hook. Overall very relaxing experience. Plenty of extra blankets and fans for those who need to sleep with a fan. Wifi worked great. Limited cell service but didnt matter. No issues at all.

Private Getaway
We live on an extremely busy and tourist inhabited lake, this place gave us what we love about lake life with privacy which is so rare it seems. Tons of stuff to do, no need to bring your own yard games or children's outdoor toys. Tons to do without leaving the property. The lake and beach area was murkier than expected, but still caught some fish off the dock and enjoyed the kayaks and such. Thanks for a pleasant experience!

Great Lake Home
We enjoyed our family get together at this very nice lake place. The owner let us check in early and the place was clean and had everything we needed for our week stay. The leaves were at peak which made it more beautiful. Fishing was good and campfires toped off the day. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful stay at a beautiful lake home
I booked this beautiful lake home for a wedding that my family attended in Eveleth. Location was great, home is nicely appointed, clean, and very secluded. We loved it. It rained both days of our visit so we missed out on fires by the lakeshore. Bummer!! Guess we will have to come back! Thanks for sharing you lovely home with us.

We enjoyed all aspects of the property. Everything worked well. Very quiet mid week stay. It was a relaxing stay for the boomer crowd. Getting away from internet was nice, though it was handy to have good cellular access. We definitely would stay again. One thing we could not figure out how to do was how to shut off the big ceiling fan. We did wonder too if and when the cabin closed down for winter. Thanks for the visit!

This cabin is perfect for a secluded getaway. It's down a dirt road in the middle of the woods with a neighbor on one side a woods on the other. We felt like the only people on the lake! The cabin is clean and we'll stocked. The pictures are accurate. This cabin is one of the nicest we have rented! The lake is beautiful. It is a bit murky but clean. The docks were super convenient for launching our fishing kayaks. Bobber fishing with bait seemed to catch more than using a lure alone. It was lovely being able to bring our dogs and perfect location for trips to Duluth or farther north for day trips. This was a perfect, charming, and relaxing cabin! The host responded promptly and answered all questions thoroughly. I can't say enough good things about this cabin!

A wonderful spot!
We had such a wonderful time at this cabin. A quiet location, clean lake, and wonderful yard all made for a great week! Sandy made everything easy and there where such great amenities for both kids and adults. We will hopefully be coming back next year!
