Old, but beautiful. Amazing decor. Rooms kind of small, but understandable given apparent age of property. Very nice host, felt like we were family. Easy online check in. Street parking
Excellent location, walkable distance to attractions. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Quiet neighborhood and courtyard, the street is for pedestrians only. Easy check-in and check-out.
The room was perfect for my solo stay. The hotel is perfectly located next to anything you could want to walk to. The host gave me great recommendations for meals and sights. He was accommodating to my arrival time and everything went as smooth as could be. I’ll definitely return.
A great place to stay- stayed for 3 days. Owner is very nice - helped me with luggage issue I had With airport. Each room is unique. It was once a house so not hotel room size rooms but very personalized.
Very clean, super cute little room with en suite bathroom in a historic building. It was safe and in a great location for the historic center. The staff was friendly as was the hotel kitty, Princess.
Gerard is super friendly and the hotel is BEAUTIFUL. Perfect walking distance to restaurants, sight seeing, and the beach. As a group of young women, we felt extremely safe. There’s air conditioning in the room and a coffee station downstairs. There’s even an adorable ragdoll cat that roams the hotel - it felt like a movie. Couldn’t say a bad word about this place. My go-to recommendation for anyone’s stay in Malaga.
Had a great experience with El Riad Andaluz! The location is perfect, staff were friendly and caring. The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. Would come again!
Perfect location close to most attractions but still very quiet. Friendly and helpfull owner. Simple but clean and comfortable rooms with charming decor. We enjoyed our stay very much and would choose the same hotel if we visit Malaga again.
Cozy, well located, quiet place. The riad is located in a quiet, pedestrian street, centrally located, but away from loud bars. The rooms are well lit and look much better in person. The place offers beach towels and umbrellas to take to the beach, along with recommendations for breakfast and lunch spots.
The aesthetically pleasing vitrified ceramic tile flooring and wall treatments were a notable feature. Its convenient proximity to area attractions, restaurants, cafes, and eateries was advantageous. However, the property's location at the end of a street experiencing issues with homelessness and public intoxication presented safety concerns. On the morning leaving for breakfast, human waste was discovered near the entrance. Furthermore, early morning construction noise from the lower level disrupted our sleep. Parking was limited and the spaces were cramped.

Good stay in Malaga
The atmosphere was excellent—old style Arabic/Old Spanish establishment with internal courtyard and rooms with internal windows. A very authentic feel and dare I write, quaint. There was no noise from outside. Internal noise echoed a bit but the other guests weren’t noisy. The bed was spotlessly clean. The shower head needed a gasket to stop the water spraying everywhere except from the shower head itself! The holder on the wall for the shower head itself was too worn out to hold the shower head so I had to hold the shower head or rest it on the taps. The sink plug was fully inserted and to get it out so the sink could drain I had to dig it out with my fingernails. The hotel is close to the town’s restaurants and bars and the Alcazar and Roman Teatro. Excellent. I really enjoyed my stay but the shower and sink need some TLC. Get that fixed and it’s a gem.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel El Riad Andaluz, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The location of the hotel was perfect, very central which allowed me to explore the charming streets of Malaga.
The hotel's ambiance was incredibly cozy, with authentic décor that reflected the local culture and a beautiful indoor garden. My room was beautifully designed, kept only in cerulean tones, with an authentic attention to detail.
The hotel's owner was exceptional, very kind and always ready to assist with a smile and local recommendations that added an extra layer of enjoyment to my trip. Whether it was providing directions to nearby attractions or suggesting the best spots for authentic tapas.
My stay at this lovely hotel was a memorable experience filled with comfort, warmth, and a true taste of Spanish hospitality. I can't wait to return and create more unforgettable memories. If you're looking for a cozy and delightful retreat in Spain, I highly recommend this hidden gem.
