"Hotel Sofia is a very nice, well appointed hotel near the airport. Some late afternoon aircraft noise, but no problem overnight. On a side street so quiet, but only 100yds to public transport to city. Also a range of shops and eateries in same area. Pool area good. Breakfast had a good selection. Would recommend. Staff very friendly and helpful."

Food I have never tasted to be so amazing! Always have the lamb medium rare you won’t regret it. "This is a recently renovated old hotel. It still has that grand hotel ambience. It's a little off the city center but is still quite easy to walk to all the things you want to see or eat. The sea view is actually a view of the ferry port, so that's not much. The breakfast is excellent. Overall, it's quite nice. "

"The property was in a convenient location for the ferry port, which we used for transportation from Crete to Athens. The hotel staff were excellent and always helpful. The only drawback is that it is hard for any tour transportation to pick us up at the hotel. "
