Great staff and can tell they work VERY hard to maintain the place. Natural wear from the years but does not mean it is not a great place to stay. They were on top of pool testing and cleanings. Great breakfast!!

The room was convenient to get to from the entrance. The staff was friendly. Cost was reasonable. It would have been better if there were stairs to enter the pool so my shorter 5 year old could enter by herself.

We wished there were security cameras in the parking lot. We felt unsure about our car being safe. I was also worried about my elderly mom in the parking lot, as the surface had some cracks and was uneven in places. We also had no towels in the pool area. The hot tub was perfect, and it was an attractive pool area. The staff was accommodating and helpful when we needed assistance. The breakfast was nice, and we saw the staff cleaning different areas, several times. Staff was polite! Thank you!

Unfortunate housekeeping...

Sadly, I was warned by more regular hotel not to stay here. I normally book elsewhere. This was close to my regular location. Staff was great and accomodating. The room was gross specifically dirt and hair on the bathtub, dust on tray surface in bathroom, chunks of dirt/ dust on phone and not stocked. Lotion and shampoo bottles were half empty and clearly used earlier. Many corners cut here.

Everything was good great staff the pool and hot tub was clean and worked well the only issue and it’s not a big issue was the toilet seat was super loose like it was almost ready to fall off room was nice and clean

I knew what I was getting into when I booked the room - a budget hotel with free breakfast and a pool/hot tub that was dog-friendly. Check-in was fine, the staff was very accommodating, and the room was satisfactory. I have no complaints since my expectations were not very high to begin with. I didn't have a chance to enjoy the breakfast so I can't base my ratings on anything there, but the pool and hot tub area was very nice. The rooms and hotel in general need a LOT of updating (very outdated, old carpeting, random wiring out of place). In my room, I did not have any conditioner in the shower, which was disappointing (thank goodness I had my own leave-in) and I also did not have coffee cups, so I had to run down and grab some from the lobby. Other than that, I appreciated the microwave and fridge, the close access to everything, and the comfiness of the beds. One other note - NOT the hotel's fault at all, but DANG - smokers need to pick up their cigarette butts (and I am a smoker!) and dog-owners need to clean up their dog poop. The back area of the hotel was a disaster - hotel guests, do better.

This hotel is in need of an upgrade pretty badly. There were flies in our room and while it was a non-smoking room it smelled of stale cigarette smoke. They used air fresheners and scented cleaners. The breakfast was lacking. The pool and hot tub area was lovely however. The bed was comfortable.

Perfect for a day of shopping and visiting family with a cozy return. Pool was well lit and clean, perfect temp! Included bfast was lacking but as basic as it may be was helpful to get a waffle on property before spending on a high priced lunch out.

Dog Friendly with a Pool. This is our Go Too...

This hotel could use some updating, but they were updating the Mattress's on the day we visited. The one Huge advantage of this hotel, DOG FRIENDLY. One of the few in town that is, that also has a Pool/Hot Tub. Very Affordable....

The staff all need customer service training. The two we delt with were terrible. No welcome, no thank you for staying, not even one smile. The morning guy was getting breakfast across the room while we waited at the desk and then acted like we were the ones inconveniencing him. The whole place just feels old and worn out. The rooms need paint and the furniture was beat to heck. However, the place did appear to be clean and the beds were comfortable. We won't choose this hotel again, though.

This was a good choice for a cheap stay. We appreciated the location, free parking, and complimentary hot breakfast. We weren’t happy that the windows lacked closing drapes or blinds. There is just a see through mesh curtain that lets in light.

Pretty sure they tripled the price for that weekend because it was family weekend for Mankato State. Price was far too high for what you get. However with that said everything was clean and I would go there again if there were no other options that were cheaper.
