The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"J'y est passé une semaine avec mes 2 filles (19 et 14 ans) et nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Mes filles cherchaient surtout du repos, après un mois de juillet très mouvementé. Elles ont été ravis. Le très grand jardin et la superbe piscine ont suffit à leur bonheur. Le gîte est grand, très sympa et bien agencé, de quoi donner envie d'y rester plus longtemps. "Perfect for overnight stop en route South or North. Lovely lady (owner?) Rooms recently decorated and so so so clean...bathroom spotless. Restaurant on site...was able to sit outside. Formula evening menu which is great when you don't want to spend too mush. Great nights sleep and lovely breakfast, the lady owner constantly re freshing items on breakfast buffet, tidying and wiping the surfaces. Thank you for a great stay."
