The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

“The room was good size and quiet . We eat in the hotel at night the meal was ok the chips were a little well done. We had breakfast the next morning my self and my friend went for eggs Benedict it was ok but cold we both commented on the fact . My husband had the buffet breakfast and he had the eggs cooked,but when he went to the buffet it was empty and had the last sausage and the rest was dried up .The coffee was a machine that didn’t work ( the lady made the coffee for us ) the tea was……

“We had the most wonderful stay. The location is just beautiful and it's so very peaceful. I stayed in the Wall Room with my dog. It was totally dog friendly with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous shower. There was a bed, towel, water bowl and treats for my dog. The restaurant/cafe was located close by and the food was lovely. Chef David has created a fabulous menu. The Sunday lunch was totally delicious. The restaurant staff were lovely.
