"Waowww.....what a view! - all rooms have sea views on the rolling waves and surfers having fun. Really beautiful from sunrise to sunset. And the Onsen is an added bonus, fantastic. I only stayed a couple of nights but super nice. Rooms are spacious, comfy, buffet is plentiful, and the sushi bar is exquisite! Highly recommended stop, especially with family."

Buffet had a large variety of choices although I am allergic to shrimp and do t like seafood so it limited me. I was still able to find enough to eat each day. "We had a wonderful stay at Yukairou Kikuya last week! The property is gorgeous and the private onsen in our room was wonderful and much appreciated after a long stay in Japan with much walking! We really enjoyed the town of Izu - Shizouka with its quaint feel, the lovely temple, bamboo forest and the beautiful river running through the town. It was such a lovely break from all the large city stays we had and my husband and I have already discussed returning without our tenn children as it is a very romantic property and is more suitable to adults. The traditional Japanese dinner and Western breakfast were all wonderful and we enjoyed the other amenities as well. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a lovely onsen stay during the visit to Japan!"
