“We had a lovely stay at the clayton hotel my only bad things i would say is that the room was so hot there was a fan but it made no difference as soon as we walked into the room the heat hit you obviously this is because of the warm weather we have had and that the rooms we were in were directly hit by the sun all day it was so hard to sleep even my wee one didnt sleep and I couldn't open the window as it was a ground floor room and was afraid of leaving the window open all night also the room……

“Rooms, lodges and restaurants outstanding. Food was wonderful. Our server at the Barton Grill was brilliant! This is a 5 star property and overall lived up to that. We had an issue with vouchers that were purchased for us as a gift. One staff at the golf course was somewhat...aloft...ok, curt but rest of staff and hotel staff were great. I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste.”
