"The property was very clean, amd the surroundings absolutely lovely, even despite the heavy rain of storm Claudia. It's an old, OLD building, so some creaks and age-related setbacks were expected. However it does seem that the maintenance team is slacking somewhat. Mine and my neighbours' toilets had poor drain venting, and would gurgle loudly. A few electrical sockets were loose or broken. The electric radiator seemed to struggle to keep a comfortable temperature on colder nights (0°C), having been placed bizarrely next to the old single-pane windows. The staff however were top-notch and the hotel was pristinely clean, with quite a solid breakfast option. Parking was quite plentiful, but beware the kerbs and dips in lowered cars. Overall a nice experience, but maintenance could be better. "

"When we arrived it was bitterly cold so the owner put on the wood burner which heated the place up until the heating came on.Very clean and everything you need.Very peaceful surroundings the view from the bedroom was amazing.The only problem was the internet is slow but that can’t be helped.Will come back if in that area again"
