“If you ask nicely they’ll maybe give you a view of Mount Kenya from your room. You’ll have to get up at dawn to see it without a crown of clouds, however - but you can’t blame the hotel for that. ”

“I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. There needs to be a sign……
