“As a lover of architecture, it scratched the itch to stay in a historic mansion. Like much of Richmond, IL, this house was many decades past its prime, witnessed by the broken car parked out front and the 70's apartment complex that overlooks its backyard. The home has tons of space and some beautiful original features, but you have to balance them with the broken, mismatched thrift store furniture, the challenging lack of outlets/strangely placed switches and dusty old curtains some on broken……
