This double room with private, external bathroom is situated in Sobra, calm and lovely place on Mljet. Room doesn't have A/C but there's one fan. Bathroom is external and private. Its just across the room. On the same floor there's kitchenette and dining table which is shared with other guests. Room has balcony with sea view.
On the ground floor you'll find shared terrace with sea view.
World famous city of Dubrovnik is only an hour away if you take a speed boat / catamaran Nona Ana from Sobra, which is the main port on Mljet. There is also a ferry from Prapratno (mainland) to Sobra. From Sobra port to our apartment is little bit more than 2 kilometer.
Car is recommended. If you don't plan to arrive with a car, you can rent a car or scooter in port upon your arrival.
Next to cafe bar in port is tourist office and ATM.
You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the small place with all the natural beauties surrounding you. The island renowned as the Croatian greenest island offers clear and clean sea, fresh air, dense forest with Mediterranean vegetation and a wealthy underwater life. Mljet is also known for the two Salt Lakes which stretch for 4 km and the small island situated in the middle of the Large Lake with a Benedictine monastery erected in 12th century.

Mljet is the southernmost and easternmost of the larger Adriatic Islands of Dalmatia. It is the greenest Island with Mediterranean vegetation, a clear and clean sea, and a gentle sandy shoreline. National Park spreads on the western side of the Island (for over 54km2) and offers shady walking or cycling tracks, ancient ruins, and saltwater lakes. Entrances to NP Mljet is in Polače and Pomena.
The main places are Pomena, Polače, and Sobra and in those places, you may find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, travel agencies, souvenir shops, etc...
Island is regularly connected with Dubrovnik with a ferry from Dubrovnik or Korčula as well as a car ferry connection with Pelješac Peninsula on the Croatian mainland.
Sobra is a small bay on Mljet island that is also one of the Mljet ports. This is the place where ferries from Dubrovnik and Prapratno arrive daily. Featuring a couple of restaurants as well as a handy food shop, this place is a great choice for all travellers.
