In 2018, the hayloft on the top floor of a former relay station—in a secluded location on the edge of the High Fens—was modernized and comfortably furnished.
From the large rooftop terrace—complete with a gas grill—you can enjoy unobstructed views of the pastures where Icelandic horses graze and the high moor during the day.
At night, the sky is pitch black and the surroundings are quiet. This is the perfect place to unwind.
The air is especially crisp in the health resort town of Monschau (Mützenich district).

Hiking trails like the Eifelsteig pass right by the farm.

The large living/sleeping area features a double bed and a pull-out sleeper sofa (1.40 m). A crib and high chair are provided.
This apartment is particularly well-suited for couples or families with young children.
The kitchen—equipped with a dishwasher, oven, and freezer compartment—is separate.
Of course, there’s also a bathroom with a shower.

The apartment is furnished and decorated with great attention to detail.
You’ll find everything you need for cooking, as well as a few good novels and plenty of board games.
Romantics can light the hanging candelabra.

The wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere—not just in winter (wood is included in the price).
The second vacation rental is located on the same floor: ideal for larger families or two couples traveling together.

The apartment is fully equipped for self-catering and cozily decorated. A vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies are provided for you to do your own cleaning between stays—we’ll handle the final cleaning professionally.
