“We enjoyed our stay. We paid a bit more for the balcony room with panoramic view and balcony. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. “Not sure where the photos on GMaps were taken but it doesn’t look like this hotel. We were initially given a room on the ground floor with no aircon. Summer of 2026 - 36 deg. We travel with a dog and a cat! Don’t ask! We queried the aircon and the receptionist move us to the first floor which are the pics I have shared. The aircon unit condensation pump was faulty and as it operates it buzzes like someone pressing a door bell; every 3 minutes, all night. It is referenced in another post on……

“Location and parking was good. Receptionist was grumpy. Room has see better days. The window could not be locked, there was no air conditioning and room needed redecorating. No English speaking channel on TV. Breakfast from 7 am. No cooked breakfast eg scrambled eggs,bacon. Bar was at property but not serving drinks. I requested ice cubes for water drinks but not available. At best it was basic.”

Unusually large room; clean, carpetted, tastfully furnished, comfortable bed, plush sofa for the TV (good, with streaming channels). “Very welcoming and set in the historic center -or very close. Large, comfortable room, multi-lingual receptionist and excellent breakfast, much of which is home made/home grown, including the jams. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on this particular evening, but if breakfast was anything to go by I expect a dinner there would be equally delicious. “Le propriétaire m'a dit qu'il ne travaillait plus avec expedia alors que j'avais une réservation avec expedia et donc il ne m'avait pas réservé de chambre. Par conséquent il m'a logé dans une chambre de dépannage sans aucun confort (juste un matelas sur le sol). Chambre située sous le toit alors qu'il faisait extrêmement chaud (période de canicule) et chambre qui n'était pas équipée de clim ou de ventilateur. J'ai passé une nuit exécrable.”
