I booked this hotel towards the end of a 3 week trip all over Italy. I wanted a relaxed pool day for my teens and the beach. Hotel has amazing accommodating staff. We had free parking , included was a beautiful and delicious breakfast at their patio restaurant. We spent the next day at their beach club 5 min walk from hotel. Beach lunch was delicious and the beach was spectacular. Location is 10min drive to Soverato but we chose to stay in Montepaone and their charming town and local beaches.

We were greeted by Katia when checking in for our stay, she was very friendly and very helpful in letting us know about the property and amenities. We very much liked the onsite parking for our vehicle. The property is so beautiful it’s setting with many olive trees along very manicured trees and flowers throughout the, it was impeccable. The rooms were very clean and spacious with great bathroom and a balcony overlooking the wonderful setting including a very large in ground pool that was clean and refreshing with many chairs and umbrellas. They had outside service for drinks next to the pool. The property is walking distance to the property and the have a secluded area for hotel guest with chairs and umbrellas. The breakfast was very good with wait staff helping with selections and beverages. We had some of the best fruit so far on our trip with many selections and the wait staff was friendly and helpful. This is one of the best properties that I have had the privilege to stay in Calabria. The people, the property and the service was outstanding. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you everyone for making our stay so memorable. Till next time!

SONO RIMASTA MOLTO DELUSA DAL SERVIZIO OFFERTO A PRANZO.HO PROVATO A MANGIARE NELLA STRUTTURA IN DUE OCCASIONI DIVERSE, MA ENTRAMBE LE ESPERIENZE SONO STATE NEGATIVE: CIRCA 40 MINUTI DI ATTESA PER RICEVERE IL PRIMO PIATTO, SERVIZIO ESTREMAMENTE LENTO E ALCUNE ORDINAZIONI SONO STATE ADDIRITURA DIMENTICATE. PUO CAPITARE UN INCONVENIENTE, MA QUANDO LA STESSA SITUAZIONE SI RIPETE DUE VOLTE DIVENTA DIFICILE CONSIDERARLA UNA SEMPLICE ECCEZIONE. DA UNA STRUTTURA PRESENTATA COME QUATRO STELLE MI ASPETTAVO MAGGIORE ORGANIZZAZIONE,ATENZIONE VERSO IL CLIENTE E UN LIVELLO DI SERVIZIO DECISAMENTE SUPERIORE. SOTTO QUESTO ASPETTO , PURTROPPO , L'ESPERIENZA NON E' STATA ALL'ALTAZZA DELLA CATEGORIA DICHIARATA.

Ottimo hotel nuovo vicino a tutto

Ottimo hotel nuovo vicino a tutto A Montepaone. Consiglio.

The hotel has not been updated in many many years. The rooms are old, the beds are uncomfortable, the showers are small. You only get one key per room, and the air conditioning doesn’t work without the key, so you can’t keep the air running when you leave. Blankets are not provided, only one sheet. You have to ask for a blanket. The pillows are incredibly flat and the extra pillows are kept on the floor of the closet. The shower only had a handheld option, no overhead spout, with very low pressure. The breakfast was not sufficient- options ran out early and were not replenished, and nothing was appetizing. Many staff members were rude. There is one iron available for the entire hotel, all the way in the basement, and it is so old the staff couldn’t even figure out how to use it. And the lobby smells like cigarettes. Often times housekeeping is not available to bring you items you need, you have to go get it. We will certainly never stay here again. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is because of its location we found a great cafe, Cafe Bacio where they had fabulous pastries and delicious coffee with incredible service.

We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is well located to several beaches and the grounds are very well maintained. The rooms are clean. We did not stay at the hotel, we stayed in one of the rooms(called a suite) within the hotel grounds. Staff at the front desk were polite and check in/out process was quick and easy. Breakfast is average and the service was basic. As it was pouring rain one evening we deciding to try the hotel restaurant. We found the dinner to be a tad expensive and lacking overall quality. The basic Italian dishes were disappointing and were not at the level expected in Italy. The service for dinner was awful, the staff was cold, uninterested and could not be bothered. Seemed as though they were annoyed that guests were arriving for dinner We were not the only guests who noticed this during our stay. I would suggest reviewing/discussing any potential charges such as breakfast/dinner/bar/towel/parking etc once you check in at the front desk to avoid any unexpected fees at check out.

Great, central location with walking distance to beaches, lidos, boardwalks and the center of Montepaone Lido, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and stores. The outdoor grounds are well manicured and they have a very nice outdoor pool. Rooms are small and sparse, no frills but very clean. Bathroom/shower is actually very nice and modern. Staff at front desk is not very accommodating. The hotel doesn’t offer beach towels at the pool so bring your own. Website says they provide (does not indicate fir a charge) but at a daily rental of 3 euro and they are just the bath towels you have in your room.

Great friendly hotel

I booked our stay for 3 single beds, when we got to the room there were 2 single beds and a couch made up as a single bed. There was no way either of the 3 of us would fit the couch bed. We went down and the lady on reception upgraded us to a lovely 2 bedroom suite for the same cost. We found her to be very accomodating and made sure we were happy. One concern was the buffet breakfast when it was set up outside was the flies on uncovered food. It was very unhygienic. Overall it's a great relaxing place.
