“We thoroughly enjoyed our July 4th weekend stay at the 1840 log cabin in Frederick. The home is a completely renovated and modernized log cabin that was very comfortable to stay in and located in a great location. The home is a short 10-12 minute walk downtown, but in a quiet area that is more relaxed with ample parking, etc... Communication with the host was easy and he was very responsive. The cabin had great A/C and the kitchen was well stocked to include high quality appliances. We highly……

“The location was perfect for walking just about anywhere we needed to go! Two bedrooms were a plus for me, my husband, and his sister. The half bath downstairs was also appreciated!”

“My husband and I enjoyed our five day stay at the Canal House. We were surrounded by early American décor and felt like we stepped back in time with modern conveniences added. We were cool and comfortable in the midst of a heat wave, the mattress in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.The rocking chairs on the porch were great for morning coffee and conversations. The nearness of the C&O Canal Towpath at Taylor’s Landing provided wonderful opportunities……
