You know what you're searching for… an elegant oasis in which up to ten of your family and friends can relax after a day of experiences, exploration, and enjoyment in the bountiful beauty of the White River. Overlooking the north shore of the renowned White River, our welcoming home is exquisitely appointed, with a bright and airy open-concept floor plan. The home has 3 bedrooms, and two bathrooms, and sleeps 6 comfortably on the main level. The lower basement level sleeps an additional 4 guests, with an additional entertainment area, a great spot for the independent tweens and young adults to have their own space.

Fishing on the White River is world-class! Launch your boat from the private community boat launch or fish from our private steps that lead you to the river's edge. Two other fishing options are the nearby Cartney walk-in access located at the entrance of our community or from the community boat launch. There are also many local guide services and trout docks for boat rentals. Not only is fishing great, but you enjoy river views and watch wildlife like bald eagles, river otters, beavers, or deer from the large, covered deck. The deck has ample seating to enjoy meals or your drink of choice while watching the river roll by or cozy up to the fire pit on chilly days and evenings.

For further adventure, great boating, waterskiing, and fishing are about half an hour away at one of two lakes. Lake Norfork is 28 miles to the east, and home to the Norfork National Trout Hatchery at the base of the Norfork Dam (free and paid, guided tours are available). Bull Shoals Lake is 38 miles to the west, and proud home of 350 million-year-old Bull Shoals Caverns, if you want to get down underground instead of in/on the water! If those options aren't enough to fill the days, Blanchard Spring Caverns, Eureka Springs, and Branson (Missouri) are within 2 hours drive for even more variety!

Great Eclipse Getaway on the White River
This lovely house on the White River was perfect for our group of 8 adults to watch the eclipse and as a home base for outdoor hiking adventures. It's in a beautiful somewhat remote area (but not TOO remote) with lots of space between homes. It has great views of the river from the beautiful deck. The house itself was very comfortable and nicely decorated, with a well-stocked kitchen everything we needed, plus lots of little extras from the owners who were very responsive in all communications. Two queen bedrooms were very nice and the master bedroom was gorgeous and comfortable. We all spent most of our time on the large deck, enjoying the river view. We can recommend this house to anyone and would easily choose it again. Tip: Do note basement media/bedroom, which my husband and I took, is separate entry and you go outside and up outside steps to main house. It was quite comfortable with a king and queen bed, and spacious, but no bathroom which we knew ahead. We are campers and just brought a portable commode to park in the 'mudroom' leading into that basement bedroom in case of middle-night needs - though we didn't need it.)

Family fishing/MHHS 50th class reunion
Great location being right on the river and close to the boat dock to rent boat for fishing. Deck was wonderful for morning and evening relaxing and plenty of grills for cooking. I did not check what amenities would be provided so check that before you go, evidently coffee is not provided for your entire stay. There was coffee there but not enough for 4 mornings and 6 people. This is only my 3rd time to book house or cabin and an abundance of coffee was provided at my previous rentals. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

Fantastic River house
Having river access is such a bonus for this house. Everything is great about this location. The house is well appointed for a family and older kids or multiple families. The private boat lunch is also a bonus, it loads into a creek rather than directly into the river like most.

Terrific property which was well stocked, clean and right on the river. We had a group of guys who fished in Norfork and played golf in Mountain Home with everyone having a great time on our annual getaway. They view from the porch of the river provided this group of old friends an amazing backdrop allowing us to catch up for hours.

Navy Veterans gathering in Arkansas
A few Navy Veterans getting together for a week to go out on a guided fishing trip, and enjoy all the activities around the area. Rafting, Bull Shoals Caverns, axe throwing. Great time with great friends. House is very nice, just the road getting to it is a challenge. Love the back deck and the White River right there flowing by. Deck did have a broken ceiling fan, siding & lights on front and back decks outside need cleaned. Otherwise the place is great we loved it and hated to leave….back to reality - back to work.

Beautiful Home on White River
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful White River home. Cindy had the house stocked with everything you would need. We’ve stayed at other VRBOs and had to buy all the extras for our stay, but Cindy provided them for us. The location is remote which made it beautiful, but plan to grocery shop either ahead of arriving or plan to drive 15-20 min. We were visiting family in Mountain Home so we just grabbed groceries there. Access to the river is probably the only drawback if there is one. It would be nice to have access to the river directly from the property but if you take a little stroll you can find places to access and the boat launch is very close by.

Nice getaway
The owner was responsive. The property was clean and well cared for. They even had some of the details like condiments and spices that many places do not. Kitchen was nice with granite and appropriate cookware etc. They even supplied some laundry detergent. The deck with the view of the river is beautiful. Only criticisms: It is very difficult to walk down to the river right now due to erosion, which was our only real complaint. Obviously, it is difficult to address this. I would recommend a fire pit. Neighbors are very close.
