Although its 90-foot (27.4-meter) drop is nothing short of awe-inspiring, Moxie Falls one of Maine’s most accessible waterfalls. Access it by taking a short and fairly easy hike through the woods.
Find the trailhead by the large parking lot off Moxie Pond Road. Stroll along the wide, flat path for about a mile (1.6 kilometers) until you reach the falls. Pass a variety of deciduous trees, cedars, rocky outcroppings, streams and more as you travel along. As you approach the falls, the trail gets a bit more rugged.
