For the last several years- 8 to be exact- Marble Arch Hotel is the place I always went to when dropping in from the US and even during local stays while in Nairobi. Everything then was perfect. Not anymore. Something seemed to have gone wrong somewhere. Marble Arch is now crumbling. First, I was checked into a room with a leaking toilet. No apologies. Worst of it, I got no concession when I was switched into a new room the following day.Second, some of my stuff went missing from one of my bags. I will be honest and say that I am not absolutely certain whether that happened at the hotel or at the airport. However, we could have easily established that fact if security cared to run through their CCTV tape. They didn't. Or, if they did they have never reached out to me two weeks down. Awful, awful experience. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone whatsoever.
