No glass allowed near the pool. There is no pool around the fence. We have landscapers and pool cleaners who will be at the house from time to time. They make their own schedule and may arrive during your visit. They will be outside only. Absolutely no parties allowed at this property. The property is monitored by outside cameras and an inside noise monitoring system. It only alerts us when the noise level is too loud. We cannot hear what the noise is. You will have the entire home to yourself. If you end up cancelling within the refund timeline, you will receive your money back based on our cancellation policy minus the payment processing fee (8%). This home is in the heart of the Nations neighborhood in West Nashville. The private drive to the home instantly transports you to a secluded retreat, despite being in the heart of the action - only 9 min to downtown Broadway bars. I’ve learned to look closer when booking and ask questions. The home is filled with large windows - which would be great but there are NO coverings on the majority of them. The back of the house contains no privacy fence and the wall of windows have no coverings - so you are completely exposed. One of the bedrooms also had no coverings. I spent close to 200 to try to offset the exposure, but it wasn’t enough for comfort. There are locks on all doors, but they kept getting jammed and were really tricky to use. The worst part to me was the art. It was horrifying - my 2 yr old literally screamed in terror when entering the laundry room. The image of a distorted figure being seemingly tortured in the hall disturbed all of my kids. The art in the master bath was skeletons, and distorted nudes and sexual parts. Truly disgusting and disturbing. The front lock had only a code and with the nature of the art, my biggest anxiety was not that a stranger would enter but that the owner who knew the code would. The floors were dirty - grout is gone in the cracks which are filled with dirt, food bits, etc. the furniture was dumpy - the couch especially- so gross. Cheap nightstands in the master with no bed lamps. I communicated concerns over exposure to the owner at the start of the trip. She stated she understood why I’d feel exposed but offered no real helpfulness. This place looks like it belongs miles from anything resembling a large city, but is smack in the middle of everything! Very tastefully designed. Perfect blend of modern design and nature. We started looking at future stays before we left. Perfect sized pool for laps, a hot tub in a cozy out of the way spot, a nice little walk down to nearby richland creek surrounded by trees and bamboo in case you need some extra quiet. And the owner was easy to communicate with, even late at night. Didnt have to send a message and wonder if it would be the next day till it was read. They even approved my request to bring an ice plunge to complete my hot tub soak… Your a fool to not move dates around to rent this place…We will definitely be coming back soon, and we only live 20 minutes away. Just stayed overnight here as we were passing through Nashville on a road trip from Florida Illinois) and had an exceptional experience - starting with this incredibly welcoming and communicative host! Huge piece of property tucked away in a wooded hamlet by a flowing little river just down the hill beyond the backyard! Gorgeous pool and lounge area and separate fenced yard with plenty of grass for our dog! Inside was deluxe and spacious from the comfortable primary bedroom suite (complete with huge and deluxe updated bathroom) to the soaring ceilings and cool art and decor in the wonderful kitchen/family room open concept to the fully outfitted laundry room....even has a cool indoor jacuzzi spa! This place simply has everything you could ask for - and then some! Reserve your stay asap - you will be adding your five star review here, too! (Only advice is be sure to book more than one night! So unique in Nashville!! This is such a unique house!! Huge space that was more than enough room for my husband & I, two teenage sons, Grandma & medium sized dog. Everyone had their own living spaces. The outdoor area is so cool!! Great pool area, a walking path down to the river and a fence in area with high enough fences that our high jumper dog couldn't jump over! (He had a blast in this house & property!) Beds were comfortable, high end appliances & kitchen, and our favorite was the massive, amazing shower!! Owners were super responsive. We felt totally safe in this neighborhood (Tons of people out walking dogs! But also this house is pretty secluded. ) plenty of food options. Opry was 23 minutes away & Broadway was around 12 minutes when we went.
