"Excellent choice for your stay in Volcan. I stayed for 2 nights as solo traveler. Great staff and management. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Volcan is a great base for exploring Cerro Punto region for a day or 2. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Bug Screens are torn. Couch really uncomfortable, it's a broken hideabed. Very limited TV. Kitchen dirty and needs cupboard door repairs. No smoke detectors. Swimming pool is 2 properties away and really dirty, I certainly would not swim in it, lots of bugs that bite need lots of repellant"

"I would highly recommend this bungalow. If you want fantastic views and seclusion it is perfect. You do have a few neighbors but you have privacy. You do need to take a water taxi and the cost is approx 35 each way to town. You are 10 minutes from Starfish Beach which is absolutely beautiful. This is an eco lodge that is run on solar but we did not find this to be of any inconvenience. Very well decorated and the furnishings very nice. I would absolutely stay here again. The only negative is the fishing equipment needs updated. There are kayaks and paddle boards but we did not use them. We mainly snorkeled around the home. "

"This stay was amazing! Jane (host) was incredibly communicative and so welcoming. The house is even more beautiful in person, the pictures don’t do it justice. We snorkeled and SUP boarded and had such a wonderful time. The home provided EVERYTHING we needed. We sure wish we could’ve stayed longer and hope to come back one day!"

"Large comfortable home in the Big Creek area set in a lush tropical setting which is minutes walk to the beach. Enjoyed the serenity of the setting and was a short taxi ride to town. We saw a family of howler monkeys come close to the property daily which was a real treat.Lea was a great host and got us in contact with a reliable taxi service that used during our stay."
