“Charming cabin with lots of beautiful architectural details. Obvious that while it may have some history it is well loved. Beautiful spot on the creek which makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere despite the fact that restaurants & shops are a quick easy walk from the cabin. “The little log cabin was perfect for me and my teen daughter. It felt private, the surroundings were beautiful. It was in a perfect location to explore the Yuba and Nevada City. The kitchen was basic but it had everything we needed. ”

“This spacious and well-appointed cabin was the perfect home base for our yearly Yuba getaway for three! The home had everything we needed, included a fully stocked kitchen. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, and my dog enjoyed the fenced in back yard as well. ”

“Fantastic cabin in the perfect location on the water! The only problem with our stay was that it was too short! Can’t wait to go back. ”

“Staying at Tara was an amazing experience. Everything was exactly what we were looking for to get away for the weekend! The cabin was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals including spices and condiments (except butter), the couch was so comfortable, there were extra blankets, towels, toilet paper and even a first aid kit. The privacy was amazing, it was like being in our own little world. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub (and skinny dip) and I took a relaxing bath……

“It’s hard to find a comfy house that allows dogs, so we are glad we found this one! The house is HUGE. 3 floors so if you don’t do stairs well maybe re think this house. We didn’t mind the stairs at all. The house was super warm when we used the central heater and they provide a space heater for every room. “Our stay at the Hillside Haven for seven nights was very relaxing. It is a house in a quiet neighborhood of Truckee with very easy access to Lake Tahoe and many other areas.
