"The receptionist/clerk was friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, clean and had good amenities. The complimentary breakfasts were fine but the Sunday service was poor and we had to ask for basics like jams & no offers of coffee/tea refills. Monday's server was efficient and attentive. That's a management/training issue.
The Kleenex and bar soaps, in both rooms were not replaced for the second night stay, even though the towels were replaced and beds made, indicating housekeeping service.
A minor issue is that there is a lack of signs directing to how to access the bistro from the hotel, through the many hallways. We were accommodated with excellent handicapped parking access. The exterior was clean, well maintained and inviting.
Other than a few minor issues, we would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again on a visit to St. John's."
