Top Northampton Hotel Reviews

ibis Northampton Centre
8/10 Good
"The room its self was clean and tidy nice freshly made bed. The staff were all nice and friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was okay could have done with a bit more choice on the cooked breakfast. The only thing that was a slight downside was parking as there is no onsite car park I had to use a car park that was a slight walk away from the hotel."

Holiday Inn Rugby/ Northampton M1, Jct 18 by IHG

"There was no aircon in the first room we got and this was the reason why we have booked a room here. Receptionist said they have broken aircon units and they have removed from their website the aircon and let Expedia and other booking site know 10 days ago to remove the aircon in the rooms. So we said we live if there is no aircon as that was the reason we booked to sleep well and go to work next day. The 2x receptionist lady was very nice and find a room with aircon. Thank you for this. Very happy. Food was tastie and leisure facilities nice. I loved the jacuzzi Thanks"

Holiday Inn Northampton by IHG

"Great quiet hotel. Ample parking for everyone.Staff are really helpful and friendly. Staff attrition is low, we stay about every 6-7 weeks and it is the same people. This shows that working conditons, pay etc must be acceptable for staff to stay making it a happy place.Dog friendly rooms with lovely river walks past the rugby club down past the canal or along the river and around the wildlife reserve. Food is great, especially the amazing choice at breakfast. We stay in different grades of room depending on length of stay. The 2 bed suites are situated close to the lifts but are sound insulated to a point. Amenities include minifridge, aircon, fan heaters and cooling fans, 2 double beds and 2 bed settees. Bathroom is functional and well stocked with soaps, shampoos in pump dispensers. Local wildlife when on walks complete the atmosphere. Cannot really fault this for the realistic price per night."

Days Inn by Wyndham Watford Gap
8/10 Good
"It's a fairly basic 3* hotel. It's right in the services, so handy for grabbing a bite and the have a breakfast voucher option for £7.50 that gets you £10 to spend in the services. Hotel was clean, albeit a bit tired. Beds were comfortable enough, but one of our mattresses had a bit of a dip. Fan in the room was appreciated. We stayed 3 nights for Silverstone and it is fine for a short stay / stopover. We would normally stay in 4*+ hotels, but this was perfectly fine. Receptionist advised of how to cross over the M1 at the services, so that we didn't have to go an extra junction. It can get a bit noisy with trucks pulling into the services."
