"We turned up at the hotel for a 3nights extended bank holidays weekend just to find out that the hotel was privatised and fully booked with nowhere to sleep in town or in the neighbouring villages !!! Owner refused to speak to Hotels.com since apparently he has only signed a contract with Expedia (but didn’t acknowledge it was the same company!) and refused to speak English... Hotels.com was not able to sort it out not find anywhere else and we had to drive back home 3hrs in the other direction...

Das Häuschen hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen und bot wirklich alles, was man im Urlaub für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht.Semur-en-Auxois liegt zudem mehr als günstig, wenn man sich für die zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten im nördlichen Teil Burgunds interessiert. Wir waren tatsächlich täglich unterwegs, aber es gibt immer noch so viel Schönes zu entdecken, dass wir bereits an einen weiteren Aufenthalt in unserem "Traumhäuschen" in Semur-en-Auxois denken ... Merci beaucoup de tout, M. Meunier!"

"It is a very nice hotel overlooking a really beautiful medieval town. The staff were genuinely very nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant was awesome and reasonably priced and the breakfast was very good too. The swimming pool is great and was open late enough to enjoy it even after a day on the road. We will definitely go back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone. Our only regret was not to stay longer."
