"Everything was just perfect! Communication from the very beginning with Ingrid was informative and reply’s were quick. On arrival Ingrid had a taxi waiting to take us to the Villa where Ingrid and Olivier were waiting to greet us. "Married couple own the lodge. They are both very nice and helpful. They have four dogs. One dog bark's a lot. Bora Bora has lots of hungry stray homeless dogs. Perhaps they provided a home to some. Also, there are other houses next to the Lodge. People make noise. Need ear plugs. You need a car or scooter for transportation. "This is an awesome place - lovingly created and cared for by the owners. There is beautiful art all around and the view is amazing. But keep in mind that it's not for everyone. It's set back on a hill in the jungle. Getting to the beach involves riding a bike 15-20 minutes or renting a scooter or car. We got a car. I wouldn't recommend it for seniors, young children or people with mobility issues. There are some steps down to the bathroom and the walkways can be a little tricky for older folks. "

"Tiare met us at the dock when we arrived. We had arranged to rent a car from them for 9000fp/day. She showed us around the town a little bit to point out where to get groceries, where the bank was. Before handing over the keys to the car, we dropped her off at her home a short distance from town. Jackfruit were in season and she had some ripe ones on her property so she gave us one. She also provided a phone with a local number we could use to contact her or Nir if needed. The drive from the town to the property took about 20min. The place was amazing. It was rather windy most of the days but inside the room, you couldn't tell and road traffic was barely noticeable. Looking over the balcony, we could see numerous fish but the small shark we saw stopped my wife from going in the water. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were decent. The air conditioning worked great and the place was clean, welcoming and well laid out. The water pressure was strong and the hot water was hot. There was some snorkeling equipment available which was well used but functional. The toilet paper was even better than that providing in most places. There was a Nespresso coffee maker which my wife was grateful for. There was a small washing machine with a clothes line outside on the balcony. The only thing that would have been nice to have been provided were a few laundry pods."

"Excellent location, don't need a car as restaurants, grocery stores are in walking distance. Host is very very good. Really nice to have a clothes washer and dryer. We used the 2-person kayaks alot. While the kitchen is updated & modern, there is not a dishwasher."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay here! Everything was exactly as described and we enjoyed every second of our stay! From snorkeling off the dock, playing cribbage on the deck at sunset, and getting the surprise of a lifetime when a flying fish paid us a visit, soaring out of the water twice in dramatic fashion! And a couple visits by rays as well!!!The rental car from Nir was so convenient, and he and his wife were available to us for all our needs! Phenomenal vacation! I hope we get to do it again someday! "

"A bit far from the ferry and main spots, so not ideal if you don’t drive or cycle. My room had an amazing view of Mount Otemanu, though there was a slight damp smell. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, especially after I injured myself falling off one of their bikes, and she arranged taxis for my arrival and departure. Great option if you’re out all day on tours and excursions."
