We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable bed. It is an older property, but though it shows a bit of wear and tear, is well cared for and clean. We had a minor problem with a few ants showing up and maintenance was quick to arrive with some spray. The front desk called the room a bit later to make sure our issue was addressed. All employees we had contact with were friendly and helpful. There are many scenic areas nearby and quite a few restaurants. Colt BBQ is nearby and has excellent smoked meat BBQ. Red Rock Cafe isn't too far for very good breakfast and lunch. Homemade chorizo and cheese omelet was amazing.

We stayed at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock for 4 nights and 5 days. The property is beautiful at first glance, but we were disappointed by the state of the patio furniture throughout the resort. The cushions were dusty and stained, and this was the case in the pool area as well. The cabanas also needed some attention, and there was little to no shade by the pool during our visit, with only six umbrellas set up, which was insufficient for the number of guests. This was contrary to what the resort's pictures suggested. On the positive side, we enjoyed the convenience of the Starbucks downstairs, which saved us the trouble of driving out in search of good coffee. The resort also has a full bar, and my husband mentioned that the drinks were decent. We had dinner at the resort one night; the food was okay but nothing spectacular. Customer service was generally lackluster, though there were a few exceptions. The bellboy (a young blond man) was very sweet, recommending dinner options and even offering to drive us to a nearby restaurant in the golf cart. In the pool area, the waitress was also super sweet and attentive. Unfortunately, beyond these two individuals, we did not find the staff particularly friendly. Additionally, be aware that there is a $20 per day parking fee that was not listed in the details when I made my reservation online through Expedia. I was aware of the resort fee, but the parking fee came as an unwelcome surprise.

This place needs work. The charming setting was nice, but the room is badly in need of repairs. Stained carpet and chipped furniture needs to be replaced and broken shutters that don’t shut need repair. I washed two dirty glasses with dish soap (from the kitchenette) so we could drink water out of them. They were that dirty. The pillows were old and flat. This brought the whole experience down. The breakfast was good and quickly served and the employees were kind and courteous.

It is a unique experience to be in the desert. None of the driving or parking areas are paved. You will have to eat on site extremely small town. The domes are average cleanliness. We had some flys and a couple spiders. If you stay in June it will get chilly in the dome at night. Not a big deal though. Wouldn’t recommend but also wouldn’t discourage someone from staying. It’s a different experience than staying in a hotel. I would say a mixture of hotel with camping.
