Hawaii Island Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Welcoming and personable hosts. Lovely setting. "

Hale-hoola B & B
10/10 Excellent
"Carl and Elma were fantastic hosts ... again, having stayed here in same room 3 years earlier. The three rooms on street level where you park with a common lobby room, with a day room for those who need to stow stuff on a checkout day, There is a great breakfast and coffee on the upper floor large balcony overlooking a naturalized area with wild pigs, cows, chickens, tree frogs, birds, and a wonderful view of the ocean. It is a unique place to stay in Hawaii and in an area that we find most interesting near the snorkeling sites and restaurants of Captain Cook. Good value."

Makai Hideaway 600ft from Ocean Giant Deck Gameroom/10 day special in Fall
10/10 Excellent
"The house accommodates 10 people, you do have some stairs and the wrap around deck is where we spent all our time. At the Big Island everywhere is a drive to get to, so plan accordingly. The home is clean and stocked with all kitchen and bathroom necessities including beach towels, coolers, for picnics, and beach toys! Host is available in person or by text at anytime to answer questions or concerns. Enjoy a relaxing vacation with Ocean views in Hawaii."

Spectacular Oceanfront! 20' from the Sea
10/10 Excellent
"Sitting on the moon at the edge of the ocean. Breathtaking is putting it mildly. Spectacular 100%. Enchanting to say the least. There really aren’t enough wonderful things to say about Hale Kai. The location, the stunning views, the only sounds you hear are the waves crashing on the shore, it’s absolutely awe-inspiring. The house is fantastic, open, and airy, yet cozy and inviting. The owner has a wealth of knowledge about the area and some hidden gems to go check out if you’re interested. You won’t be disappointed. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. We hope to come back again and again. Having to leave was the hardest part of our trip. A truly amazing experience. Thank you for sharing Hale Kai with us."

Hawaii Yurt luxury for less
10/10 Excellent
"When booking I thought the yurt was such a great idea. This was such a cool stay, little off the beaten patch but worth the experience. Kai the host was great with check in and any information. "

Big Island Yurt Adventures
10/10 Excellent
"The yurts were well appointed with everything needed to enjoy a stay. (Coffee, cream, condiments, shampoo, conditioner, towels, kitchen appliances, potable water crock, linens, beach towels, etc) It was perfect for us with our kids. We enjoyed 2 nights and got to really check out all south point has to offer. The bathrooms are at the back of the deck that connects the yurts, they had two toilets, two sinks, and a shower. Great space, it is separate from the yurts but they provide flashlights. They have a ton of board games, a kids play area, tanning chairs, big TVs, a blackstone grill, and everything you need to eat a meal there. Two nights was perfect, you could easily stay more and be very happy. We like moving around places to stay on the island to see and experience more things! We were really happy we spent time here.Green sands beach, kula kai caverns, punalu’u bakery, big dogs…great things to check out! Thanks again John and Dianne for your hospitality. "

Big Spacious Elevated View Home, Minutes to VNP, Myra's Blue Hawaii House
10/10 Excellent
"Myra's Blue Hawaiian House is a hidden gem on the south side of Hawaii's Big island that shouldn't be missed. Perfectly located to make day trips to south island spots like Punaluu black sand beach, Volcano national park, the Kona coffee district, or to just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The home is delightful, very well kept, nicely decorated, and fully guest ready. Your host Myra has truly thought of everything a guest could want; coffee and teas, books to read, beach gear, Dish TV and full internet connectivity, propane BBQ grill and fire pit. Just too much to mention. I was impressed by the genuine thought and care she has put into every detail. Enjoy dinner and drinks at nearby Kaloki's, or Ocean View Pizzaria (awesome bakery too). Or get some big island beef and fixings at Malama Market and BBQ at home.Ocean View is an interesting and eclectic community of people who choose to live their own way. If you're looking for a unique way to experience Hawaii in comfort and style, I can think of no better place than Myra's blue Hawaiian house, I just love it. We live on Oahu and make frequent visits to Big Island where we've experienced good, and not so good accommodations. Myra's Blue Hawaiian House scores a 10 with me."
