“Excellent, friendly staff, great bed but pillows too large for me. The design of the room is very convenient, also creative. Food preparation space and amenities appreciated. Odai and Odai town are beautiful. Better knowledge of hiking possibilities by the tourist center is needed. I realize this is not a function of the hotel.”
“We traveled around Japan for three weeks, but our stay at Asahikan was definitely the highlight of our trip. It was three wonderful days of amazing Michelin-level food, hot baths and relaxing in yukata - surrounded by an interior architectural gem. Asahikan is easily accessible from Osaka and Kyoto - a short train ride followed by a short bus/taxi ride. We took the taxi, which was very cheap and easy.
You get incredible value for your money - the place is beautifully decorated and well……
“The hotel is clean and well maintained, with view of a port.
The spring pools are great (both the male and female sides have the same standard and traditional raw pools).
The lobby is spacious and has a calm atmosphere.”
“it is located in the mountains and not easy to reach without a car.
Its hot spring is less ventilation so that it is full of steam. It is a little old style.”
