Jowelle, Paula and the hotel staff were all great and made the stay an excellent experience. The view from the room and pool was amazing!
PLEASE NOTE ... the RESTAURANT is NOT RUN by the HOTEL. Which is probably why the service was horrible and the food below average.

Was treated like family here. Amazing service and people working at Koi. A few suggestions: you will need to rent a car if you stay here. There is no access to the beach, but they have a shuttle that takes you to frigate beach. Stop at Rams grocery store and get yourself snacks. Make sure you take a trip to reggae beach. Ocean view room was worth the extra $20 or so dollars a night. They have monkeys at the hotel- so that’s super cool. Hotel was almost empty when we went in October- so we had...

The Marriott is a great place to stay while on St Kitts. We stayed for one week and didn't want to leave!
There are many restaurant options. Our favorites were fish tacos from Calypso, morning breakfast and coffee from the cafe and drinks and food all day from the restaurant outside. Restaurants (Rituals Sushi and Bombay Blues were our favorites) and Rams convenience store are within walking distance.
There are daily activities like yoga, beach volleyball, dance lessons, bingo, water...

The Hermitage is a charming, historic inn located in a beautiful part of Nevis. We could see the clouds pass over Mt. Nevis as our children swam in the pool, and we watched the green vervet monkeys frolic in the rainforest as we relaxed on the porch off of our bedroom. The people are so friendly, helpful, and the food is delicious.

Sunset Reef is fairly new with 7 suites - all with a view. The hotel management and staff are extremely helpful and eager to please. The food in the restaurant is very good. At check-in, we were greeted with frozen fruit drinks, cold towels and water, plus some fruit in the room. Lovely sunsets from the restaurant! Hotel beach is rocky and is being worked on.

Had an awesome stay. The staff was excellent. I couldn’t catch the ferry at the time I wanted to (6am) so I had to make multiple trips to the ferry terminal and office to sort my tickets out. The staff offered to take me (free of charge) and each time they waited for me. They told me I didn’t have to check out so early so they gave me access to the room again. When it was time to check out at noon, they told me I could stay in the lobby since the ferry didn’t depart until 5pm. I was so...

This property is amazing, from the arrival to departure. The gardens are beautiful, people are amazingly hospitable, food taste homemade (you can taste the love in it), and it is safe.
I highly recommend this property for your vacation! I’d only share that if you like to have air conditioning then I’d prepare to either send a mobile AC unit ahead of your arrival or, you should see if you can buy one here. The nighttime tropical winds are nice but if it’s humid outside, it can present some...

The Park Hyatt is a beautiful new resort (about a year old) and it has been well kept. The decor of the property is modern, coastal and it's in a secluded location on the island; so there's not a whole lot of traffic and it wasn't crowded with guests. We chose to stay at the Hyatt instead of the Four Seasons at nearby Nevis primarily because it was overall a better value. Hyatt is priced better than Four Season ($495 vs $700+). The Four Seasons is quite dated and in need of renovation, while...

I loved how close this property was so close to the beach, breathtaking views of the islands, and nearby restaurants. It really immerses you in the beauty of the place and is so relaxing. The people are very friendly, the food is local and fresh, and I fell in love with their cat, Smokey. We also got to see monkeys every morning eating fruit from the tree in front of our patio. Nature comes to you- all you need to do is relax.

For visitors to Ogees, the best area to stay is along the coastal road that runs through the village, particularly near the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino.
This area is the primary hub for visitor amenities in Ogees, offering direct access to the Atlantic Ocean coastline. It's characterized by its proximity to the island's largest resort complex and the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club. This section of Ogees provides a convenient base for those looking for a resort experience with access to recreational activities.
Couples often find this area ideal for a relaxing and amenity-rich vacation. The presence of the golf course, spa facilities, and various dining options within walking distance or a short drive provides an extensive experience, allowing for both activity and leisure without extensive travel.
Travelers looking for a convenient and comfortable stay will appreciate the ease of access to resort amenities and the beach.
When is the best time to go to Ogees?
The best time to visit Ogees, St. Kitts, is during the dry season, which runs from December to May, offering consistently pleasant weather for your trip.
During these months, you can expect warm temperatures, typically ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s Fahrenheit (24-30°C), with low humidity and minimal rainfall. This weather is ideal for enjoying the island's beaches, water sports, and outdoor activities. Travelers looking for a relaxing beach vacation will find these months superb for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing without the interruption of tropical showers.
The shoulder months of late May and early June, as well as late November and early December, can also be a good option. During these periods, the weather is still generally favorable, and you might find slightly fewer crowds and potentially better value on accommodations and flights.
