It was so close to the beach. I had a morning walk to the beach every day I was there. Communication with Ken was easy and he was very willing to help with our needs. Things to remember: The bedrooms are upstairs and are a little cool this time of year. Extra blankets or a space heater might be nice but there aren't many outlets. It was perfect walking distance to Foot Bridge Beach and a great location to travel around to neighboring towns. The cottage was as described. We traveled during the cooler months and our arrival was 8:00pm. As the heat was not on prior to our arrival, we found the heater inadequate to heat all the sleeping areas upstairs. It's a stones throw away and it is the most beautiful beach in Maine! You can walk home for lunch and go back, get up early to see beautiful surise and walk the beach. cottage has all you need and it was very clean. Restaurants and shopping very close. It was extremely clean when we got there. The outdoor shower is great and the backyard is perfect for kiddos to play. It is a very short and easy walk to the beach. FYI, the house has very steep stairs so it is not suitable for families with mobile infants. The ACs are quite loud but they are only necessary in very hot days since the house has a lot of windows for air flow. ##### Lucia O.
