"I rarely take the time to perform reviews, but I was so happy with Plaza Premium Almere that I feel compelled to. The room was large, clean, and overall excellent. It included a mini-kitchen (a kitchenette) which we made use of a couple of evenings. We asked for help from the staff on a couple of occasions, and in both cases they went out of their way to provide us what we requested. The breakfast buffet was always well stocked. About 15 minutes prior to ending, they would stop replenishing some of the food items. The pool is outdoors on an upper floor and was closed (likely for the season?) while we were there. We were visiting Amsterdam, so assuming I'd get a better value for my money out of the city, I chose a hotel close to a train station for easy access into Amsterdam. There are frequent non-stop trains to/from Amsterdam Central Station from Almere The ride would take 20 minutes. And the hotel is directly next to the station. There are a number of restaurants and two supermarkets also just outside the station. I would recommend Plaza Premium Almere for anyone visiting Amsterdam who wants more for their money."

"Very clean larger rooms, and the bed is very comfortable. We booked a Queen room with breakfast and everything was above average. The staff are all amazing and very helpful. The train is 45 seconds out the front door, and is very easy to get into the city, airport, or any place from there. A lot of good places to eat at within a 4-10 minute walk. We will be staying here again on our future trips to the Netherlands for sure. "

"We spent 4 nights at Heavens Hotel whilst we visited friends in Hoorn, and the hotel was an absolute delight! The setting within an old church is so unique - the room was large and roomy, very clean, a lovely bathroom. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating, and were happy to come back if we had a late start leaving our room. Reception staff were also very friendly. Breakfast on offer was extensive and very tasty - the chef was very accommodating. Perhaps the only disappointing part of our stay was that the staff member in charge of breakfast each day tried to explain on several days how the breakfast worked - we were the only Australians in the hotel at the time, I believe, and speaking English, and the breakfast restaurant was not terribly busy at the time, so it was disappointing that she did not remember we had been to breakfast the day before, and then the day before that, and the day before. Also, we ordered English breakfast tea each morning, and each morning we were surprised that our order wasn't remembered. This was a minimal issue, and I feel a little critical in mentioning it, however we stayed in a number of hotels throughout Europe which were much busier, and most days our orders (and ourselves) were remembered by breakfast staff. The little personal touch of remembering that we had been there the day previously, and remembering what we ordered to drink, would have made a huge difference. Overall - a great stay, highly recommended!"

"The area around is great if you like partying or bars, but the soundproofing of the room sucks. You can hear the party’s around all night. Shower sucks cause it gives no hot water."
