“Beautifully renovated historic building with beautiful garden and a top-notch restaurant. The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center. Very nice and helpful staff.

“das Hotel hat einen großen Hof in der mitte als Parkplatz. Auf der gegenüberstehenden Seite (vom Einfahrt aus) gibt es in zwei Etagen Zimmer. es gibt ein Gebäude auf der Ecke, wo im Erdgeschoss Restaurant und Bar ist und auf die Etagen sind noch Zimmer.
warum diese Beschreibung: weil das Hotel auf dem Bild ganz anders aussieht. das erzeugt (aus meiner Sicht) einen falschen Eindruck.
Das Zimmer war sauber und interessant eingerichtet. Das Abendessen war furchtbar und der Frühstück notdürftig.”

“Pls don’t pick this hotel if u expect u can have hotel normal service. They are digital hotel with no reception, no housekeeping from 1pm to other day morning.
U they don’t expect u need a glass, or a fork and they won’t provide them in the room.
To their suggestion, as a digital hotel, I think u should let your customer get those they need in a digital way, say self service counter for necessary.
I didn’t get the digital key email before my check in. Lucky that I arrived a bit early before……

“Very quaint and historic property in the heart of Monnickedam. The room was lovely. Old world with modern fixtures. Just FYI, no elevator so request ground floor if you need to. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Short walk to the bus that can take you to Volendam or Amsterdam within 20 minutes”
