"We arrived after dark, tired from long overnight flight. We had no water pressure upstairs and no hot water anywhere. This was corrected the next day. One on-suite toilette would not flush properly and leaked at the grinder motor. A "tech" was called in. He informed us that he could not fix it, they would need to call someone else. When we continued to report the issue to the host, she informed us that the "tech" said it was working OK. The "tech" informed us that it was not but he could not fix...

"Everything about this house is exquisite and very homey. Decors are really tasteful. Outdoors spaces and the views are absolutely beautiful. Kitchen is really well appointed. There is no shortage of dish-wear, silverware and glasses. Location is very central to explore Tuscany. Our host, Lapo is very welcoming and helpful with all recommendations. "Pros: La casa è sita in una posizione super tranquilla in mezzo al verde e alla natura. Tutto è curato alla perfezione. Nota di merito per il verde e i fiori e per la gentilezza dei proprietari. Cons: La posizione che è un pregio per qualcuno per altri potrebbe non esserlo. In effetti per arrivare al podere ci sono 2 km di strada bianca molto stretta. Una volta arrivati si è però ripagati ampiamente del piccolo disagio!"

"Upon arrival Guido had everything prepared for us. A bottle of his amazing wine that he makes along with 2 wine glasses we’re waiting on the farmhouse table. The home had 2 very comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom along with a living room and kitchen. Front porch overlooks the stunning Tuscany fields. "Honestly, I've had better stays at Motel 6. The staff were mostly indifferent about any of my requests. The room and facilities simply didn't measure up to the cost. The room was small - hardly room to open one suitcase, let alone two. No soap, or body wash dispenser in the shower. The only option was to drop the tiny hotel bar of soap on the floor, then hope you didn't kill yourself picking it up again. No Kleenex either. Yes, it's a small thing but at the price they charge... And the hotel is on a steep hillside, with stairs, stairs and more stairs. Not easy for anyone with even slight mobility issues. The one bright spot was the view from our room's terrace. The restaurant also has lovely views out over the Tuscan countryside. But overall ABSOLUTELY not worth the money."

"We came here for the last stop of our Italian honeymoon and were certainly impressed by the property, amenities, room, etc. but we were truly enchanted by the staff who did everything to make our stay the most memorable of our lives. There are too many people to mention them all by name but particular standouts were the bartender Alessio who, over the week, took us on a tour of various Italian amaros as digestivos, Mattia who was always happy to chat with us about the latest events of the Giro in the spare moments when he was wasn't tending to guests, and Vassilios who, on short notice when a wine tasting wasn't available, helped us pick a few bottles and walked us through the tasting notes and experience. Never in my life have I felt so much at home at a hotel. Considering the price, I initially thought this would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us, but now I anticipate it may become a required stop on any future European vacations we take, because it was so, so worth it."
