Ox Hotel Carlisle
Very clean budget hotel. Comfortable bed, good linen and towels. Only problem is there are no bedside lights or lamps in the room and main light is very bright, so had to keep the bathroom light on for subdued lighting.

Crown and Mitre Hotel
We were grateful and impressed that a staff member came down to open the gate to the car park in Storm Amy. The hotel decor is charmingly period, the room was comfortable and warm, the bar was pleasant.

North Lakes Hotel And Spa
Superior room was lovely. The Halston
Excellent property. Exceptionally clean, great customer service and The Penny Blue Restaurant, Bar and Breakfast were all 5 star. Our rooms were great too, cannot fault The Halston.

Overall the accommodation is looking tired, the photos don’t show the bathroom which is the room requiring the most attention.
