Fue construido en lo alto de la caída y tiene vistas de Brotherswater y Ullswater y ofrece paseos desde la puerta hasta High St, Helvellyn, St Sunday Crag, Fairfield y muchos otros lugares populares. Not easy to drive to so good for people who want to do lots of walks and exploring in the area. There is a beautiful waterfall only about 15 mins walk from the house. We also went swimming in Brotherswater. We had a great stay, big enough to not feel cramped, clean, warm, fantastic view and we saw red squirrels every morning! The house was warm and homely with plenty of space for us and 5 kids and all the amenities we needed. The drive up the track was a bit challenging but the location was worth it, the views from the garden and windows are amazing. It was awesome starting each day watching the birds and squirrels in the garden. After long walks it was nice to sit around playing some of the many board games and checking out the impressive collection of books. The log burner was nice to have but the house was warm enough so we didn’t need to use it. As a base we found it very convenient and were able to explore all over the Lake District without ever having to travel too far. The host was friendly and very accommodating.
