The porch was perfect for mornings to wake up and drink a cup of coffee and gaze at the mountains. It was close to shopping centers and to beautiful parks. 10/10, we will definitely be back. "Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. We were traveling with 17 people in our party. Five adults and 12 girls (5-17 years). The house was spacious and comfortable and included plenty of beds/room for everyone. If you are not used to driving on West Virginia mountains roads, I would definitely recommend arriving during daylight hours. The road up the mountain to the house is very narrow in places and it was a bit scary the first time at night. Lots of room in the kitchens for cooking and eating. Would stay here again. "

"The cabin and property were wonderful, very secluded and private and very relaxing! The hosts were very helpful and responsive and very accommodating. It was a little to hot outside to fully enjoy the hot tub but it was a nice option to have a long with the fire pit! "

"We love the Sparrows Nest and keep coming back because the place is awesome and the host is super. I can't say enough great thing about both. Enjoyed it so much. Squirrels and local wildlife will pay you a visit and hang out with you. Good fun. "
