“Right from our check in and all the time we were there all the staff were so friendly and just excellent. Adrian was so friendly and could not have been more helpful The hotel itself was perfect for us, small, quiet and we just loved the relaxed atmosphere. They had a small bar area in the reception which works on an honesty basis. “Zum kleinen Preise 5* Die Zimmer sind einfach nur traumhaft. Sehr geräumig mit dem Gewissen Etwas an Exklusivität. Das Bad einfach nur 😍, Außenpool klein aber 👍 mit ausreichend Liegen / Loungemöbel. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr sicher, die Parkplätze sind auf dem dem Gelände. Das Frühstück: Ein MUST ist das Omelett - auf die Sekunde perfekt gebraten. 👏 Der Kaffee ein Genuss. die Auswahl ist vielleicht ein klein wenig überschaubar, dafür nur die Besten der Besten Lebensmittel- kein Discounter……

“Carin and her husband and the rest of the staff at Oude schuur guesthouse were amazingly friendly and accommodating. They helped with getting us a car rental and made some excellent suggestions for dinner in the area. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh, the room was spotless with daily housekeeping. We would recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the Hermanus area. The mountain views from our terrace were spectacular as well. Be sure to book several nights, because you won’t want……

“This hotel is a little oasis outside of Hermanus. The garden is beautiful full of art and flowers. We really enjoyed eating at the restaurant for the two evenings we were there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfortable and the room spacious. Great view of the sea too.”

“Everything was immaculate. Welcoming hosts. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Whale watching from room was amazing and good sightings along the bay too. Room was beautiful and well equipped with thoughtful touches. Would highly recommend as a better alternative to staying in Hermanus. ”
