The floor and room were cold but the heater was extremely loud when in use. The sink had no hot water. The toilet seat was not secure. The lights outside kept the room from being dark at night. The main lamp between the two beds was broken. The water pressure in the shower was weak. I’ve never left a bad review before, but I feel like I have to for this. I was in Oxford to visit my daughter at Miami University for her sorority "Father's Day weekend" & just about everything locally was booked. I arrived, set my bag down, and sat on the bed. I was already disgusted with the property and room but after only 5 minutes, a big roach scurried past me ON THE BED. I swatted it off with my jacket & took a picture of it on the floor (I WISH I could post a pic here). I grabbed my bag and tried to check out. When I showed the lady the photo, she said, "but that’s an outdoor bug." I told her I was leaving, but she refused to give me a refund even after being there for a total of 15-20 minutes. The bed was still made, I hadn't used the bathroom. I ended up finding a room at the Comfort in just 2 min away. It was a little tired but it was the Taj Mahal as compared to the Oxford Inn but honestly, I would have preferred sleeping in the rental car over staying at this disgusting place.
