Definitely give it a try!!
The cabin we staying in was wonderful! It was spacious and stocked with everything we needed. The property itself was well maintained and the staff were courteous and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again, if we're in the area.

Overall our stay was very good, and relaxing, the whole cabin is clean, except the towels, they are old and black, It would be perfect if they can change those old towels.

It was a great little spot, we didn’t want to pull our camper and this was the next best thing.
We would go back.

Definitely an RV Resort! Huge property with lots of activities and lots of wildlife - feral pigs, California quail, woodpeckers, deer, and more. The cabin we rented was clean and well laid out, but there was a leak in the water line so we couldn’t bathe for 1/2 our stay. They refunded the money and were good communicators. I’d recommend the place!
There was no address posted on the property and the name San Benito RV Camping Resort was not used at the entrance. We drove around and around without cell phone service looking for the property. We finally found out it was a Thousand Trails resort. We arrived after dark after driving back to Hollister for cell phone service and spent about 25 min. more trying to find the store where our map was located. When we finally found the cabin, all was well.

We really enjoyed staying in our cabin at the lovely, peaceful campground resort. Easy checkin with friendly staff. It’s a great location 4 miles off highway 25. Easy 25 mins drive to the Pinnacles.
The cabin was very cozy and comfortable with a table for 4, leather couch, recliner chair and lots of cabinet space. Great full kitchen, plates, utensils, & good glassware. Better bring your own pots & pans. Nice bathroom except the towels are dingy and need to be replaced. The separate master bedroom had a very comfortable queen bed. However, the 2nd floor loft ceiling is so low, we had to crawl to reach the 2 single mattresses on the floor. Not great for adults but fine for kids.

You'll want to run....DON'T!!! It gets better!
Once you get passed the beginning, it's pretty awesome (if you're staying in the cabin....can't speak to the camping/RV aspect) We wanted to take our kids to the Mystery Spot and around Santa Cruz etc., but I wanted to stay somewhere 'out of the box' and that wouldn't break the bank! Googling around had this place pop up! It is a bit of a drive to get to the Santa Cruz area (like an hour-hour and half, depending on traffic...which sucked!).
Anyways the price was right, it looked like the kids could have some space to play, there was a pool, and it was a step above camping. I bit the bullet. Driving into Paicines the way we did (Siri had us go through Panoche Rd...talk about weirded out...weird, long, creepy, desolate road...I was convinced we'd break down and someone would end up wearing our skin)....anyways, driving in, you wonder where the hell this place is! We finally made the turn into the long driveway. The first thing you see is an abandoned, dilapidated building and a very overgrown asphalt area (I'm thinking it was a parking lot at one time?)....I wanted to cry!! I was so sure I had picked a dud and I wasn't going to live it down!!!! We bit the bullet and kept driving....it got better as we went..little bit by little bit (meaning there were signs of real campers and we weren't being lured to our death!)....once we checked in at the little country store and headed to the cabin, it was better. Once we got INTO the cabin, it was GREAT!!! I WAS SOO PLEASENTLY SURPRISED!

Found this campground when lookong for a place near pinnacles NP. The cabin was bigger than expected and had all the basic needs. Wasn't crowded (mid june) and we really enjoyed our stay. Staff was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Long review but may help
decent place to stay to visit pinnacle national park. It’s a small cabin, like a tiny house. They said 2 queen bed and two twin beds but one queen was sofa bed and space was too small to pull out so one person just ended up sleeping on the sofa. I would say sleeps 4 people even though it says 5 people. Kitchenette was sufficient. 4 gas burner stove. Good size fridge. Small pots, dishes, utensils. Would take cutting board and knives. Theirs were not in good condition. It’s about 15 miles from the nearest town so remote and quiet. If you want convenience of stores or restaurants, not a place to stay. No WIFI.

Communication Fail
We arrived 2 hours before the deadline for checking in. There were no maps, no signage to help us check in. Drove around for more than an hour in the dark looking for our cabin before a kind camper gave us a map and the night phone number. Ten minutes later someone showed up to guide us to our cabin (which was lovely).

Surprise find!
It’s the kind of place I would have loved when I was 10-15 or if I had kids that age. Grounds were lovely and lots to do. We stayed because it was near Pinnacle Park where we attended a wedding.

The Skunk cabin gave us a stinking experience.
Although I was one of the first to register for a cabin and my last name is the same family name ( Bellone) when we arrived we were the only ones put in a tiny cabin totally isolated from our family. One of my sons had just registered a few days before and his cabin was w the others. We are 77 and 80 yrs old and it was a problem to be so far from every other cabin. As it happened there were two empty cabins right by our family that were never used. Also, the signage is terrible. You need to improve the number of signs. We had so much trouble finding the Skunk cabin in the night.

Cozy clean cabin surrounded by nature
Would definitely stay again.
Stayed in a cabin that was very clean and with comfortable beds, and kitchen supplies. Nice shower. Soap and shampoo supplied.
Pros: surrounded by nature with a great variety of birds; nature trail; 30 mins to Pinnacle Park
Cons: pool not open; hot tub is permanently closed-cemented over; Paid for Wifi but it did not work well. Needed it for work but the Wifi speed was not up to the task. Country store closed. Closest place to buy supplies is in Hollister or at Pinnacle Park.

Grandkids and the getaway
Once we found our cabin it was so amazing. Perfect amount of space inside for the 5 of us to enjoy each other. The cabin had everything you would need- toaster, dishes, apartment size fridge, pots and pans. We had a bbq grill that was used everyday. Great amenities that we will enjoy next time. Covid had most unusable.

We chose this place because of it's proximity to Pinnacles National Park. The cabin we stayed in was quite clean and cozy with everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The staff was super friendly and helpful at check in. My only complaint is that since the property is fairly remote, I was unable to get cell reception and the wifi that I had to pay for was very slow to the point of being effectively useless.

Terrible customer care.
Disappointed that no one must have checked that propane tank was low and in the middle of the night we ran out and were freezing cold by the morning. It was 30s outside. When we realized ourselves what the problem was and called at 7 am, no one came till 11! Checkout time. No showers and starving kids couldn’t cook breakfast and freezing cold. We left to drive 2 more hours to find food. Lost half the day of hiking as were hoping to be at Pinnacles by 9. They kept saying someone is coming every time I called. No one came! Hours lost from our vacation and couldn’t do the planned hikes. Very sad.
